Easter Blog Hop

Welcome to the Easter Blog Hop where crafters from Crafty Swaps and Challenges FB Page have come together to share some spectacular Easter inspiration with you.

If you arrived here from Carolyn's blog you are in the right place.

For my project I made an Easter Tag and Water Can.
The twine is from Trendy Twine.

I am on their design team  and I cut their files on my Sizzix eclips.

I would like to offer up a $20 Michaels Gift Card to one lucky winner. I will select winner on Saturday 4/6. Just leave me a comment.

You are off and hopping to Melinda's blog

Butterfly Card LLS Week 2

Happy First Day of Spring! For this week‘s challenge over on the Crafty Swaps and Challenges we had to create a card or layout following a sketch. I decided to make a lever card.

Here’s a look at the sketch:

I used the butterflies from the SVG Cuts ~ High Skies SVG Kit.
The lever card is from SVG Cuts ~ Peony Cottage SVG Kit.

Stop by on Saturday, I'm going to be in an Easter Blog Hop and I have blog candy to share!

SVG Cuts is having a Graphic 45 Giveaway. Stop on over and enter!

High Skies!

I was at an all-day crop today and was so excited when I saw the latest SVG Cuts Kit ~ High Skies. I immediately put my photos away and starting cutting the Hot Air Balloon!

It was so fun and easy to make. I used papers from October Afternoon and Twine is from Trendy Twine.

I used the Scotch glue to assemble the initial inner balloon and used a hot glue gun to add the patterned paper pieces. I used just a dab of hot glue on the balloon to attach the banner and embellished with gems.

Here is the look at some of the other items of the kit (does not include all items) ~ click here if you decide to go pick it up!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Lucky Journal

Happy St Patrick’s Weekend to you! I have a fun Lucky Journal to share with you today. I made this for my friend who signed up for my Craft It Forward post on Facebook way back in January.

I covered a hardback notebook with paper and cuts are from SVG Cuts ~ Charm and Chance SVG Kit.

I used some wonderful Trendy Twine for this project and I'm going to enter their challenge for the month.

Going Green
Recipe: St. Patrick's Day with a clover, leprechaun, or both

Monochromatic green (shades of green; no other colors) Trendy Twine

I attached a cute little bookmark with the Trendy Twine.

Hope you have a great St Patrick’s Day. I am cropping tomorrow all day so I am going to have a fun weekend!

Easter Layout LSS Week 1

How about those cuties? I recently signed up for a little Challenge called "Last Scrapper Standing". Sounds fun right? Each week a challenge will be posted on Crafty Swaps and Challenges on FB and you have to create a layout to match the challenge. If you do it you move on, if not you are eliminated.

Week one uses the sketch below. Plus you had to use elements listed on the challenge.

1) I used a ribbon on my tag. Isn't that bunny cute? It is a print and cut from SVG Cuts ~ Cotton Tail Village SVG Kit.
He cut perfect on my Cameo.

2) I used more than one Patterned Paper.
The little chick is from Fleurette’s recent kit called ~ Little Chicks Element Collection

3) I used a brad on my title. It is a recent freebie from SVG Cuts. Go grab it! Once again I did a print and cut.

and last but not least...
4) I used a button on camera. The papers are from Dear Lizzy.

So I've survived one week - we shall see if I am the Last Scrapper Standing! Maybe I'll get discovered for a reality scrapping show.

One last thing before I leave - stop on over to the SVG Cuts store - they are having a sale which ends Wednesday!

Cards For You

WOW! It has been quite some time since I have blogged. Life has been a bit busy for me. I just came back from Las Vegas where I spent the week for work. It was a great time but I am sure glad to be back home with my family.

While I was away my SVG Design Team project was posted. Thought I'd share a few photos with you. I created 3 different cards and little card box to put them in. I thought this would make a perfect gift for someone. Include a pretty pen and some stamps and they'll be ready to roll!

Here is the box! It was a former recipe box so it even has the tabs to separate out the cards. Stop by the SVG Cuts Blog for all the details and more photos!

I am hoping to find some crafty time real soon - look at these beauties - free gift from SVG Cuts with purchase. Aren't they so pretty? Stop by and pick up the Cotton Tail Village SVG Kit today!

Have a great week!
