Cookies!

Who doesn't love cookies this time of the year? My cousin makes the most amazing cookies and she made a few different types for me. Isn't this a work of art? Too pretty to eat right?

Not only do they look good but they are so delicious! My boys were all over these with their cup of milk.

Visit Janet's Facebook page here  - Roll Your Own Cookie . Great thing about looking at cookies on line is they don't add to your waistline. lol

I of course had to make some cute containers for the cookies I plan to give away.
Here is one I made up for my hair stylist. I also included a gift card,
The drum is from SVG Cuts  ~ Santa’s Visit SVG Kit
Twine is from The Twinery

There are a bunch of 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways taking place.
SVG Cuts is giving away a Cameo. Head on over and sign up now.
There are also lots of great Christmas projects from the Design team. Check them out here.

We R Memory Keepers is giving away a Washi Tape Dispenser.
(I have this and love it!)

I'm back with BAGS!

Wow - it sure has been quite some time since I've blogged. I am glad to be back in the craft room ~ even if it's just a little bit of time before I have to head back to my couch :) Well I had some major surgery (a hysterectomy) and before my surgery I was feeling awful. I am on the road to recovery and going to feel so much better soon!

I made some cute gift bags using SVG Cuts Happy Holidays SVG Kit. It is FREE for a limited time so make sure you go pick it up. Leo and Mary are so darn generous!

First off I downloaded the latest Echo Park Keepin Cozy Digital Kit. Grab it here - it's 30% off!

I printed out a bunch of papers on my Epson 1430 and there are lots of pretty patterned papers in this kit. I also did some print and cuts of my favorite elements. I did these on my Cameo (SO EASY!) I was using SCAL (Sure Cuts Alot) but decided to upgrade to Silhouette Studio Designer Edition and I absolutely love it! Here's a look at my print and cuts.

I then cut my patterned paper on my Cameo. With Designer Edition you can import SVGs. Here is a look at the fabulous FREE kit from SVG Cuts:

Here are my bags!  On each and everyone of them I reduced them down a bit to fit my gifts. This one even has the back decorated :) I used some twine from the Twinery.

I made a little card with this one with my extra print and cuts.

Well it does feel great to blog again. Hope your holiday preparations are going great. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Foxes X2

Hey Everyone - I always have so much fun participating in the ATC (Artist Trading Card) swaps over on the SVG Cuts Forum. You create a card that follows the theme and mail them to everyone in your group. It is so much better to get happy mail rather than bills in your mailbox!

For this month's theme it was Halloween with a Wedding twist. I played with the Halloween colors and decided to make some cute foxes on mine.

I created the foxes in Adobe Illustrator and saved out the layers as SVG files. It really took me quite some time and also took awhile to assemble all the cards. (Not sure how Mary at SVG Cuts does it every week!)

Here is where it ties into the wedding theme. Mary and Leo recently tied the knot and just love the 2 little foxes they used as their wedding topper:

So since i worked hard and long on those foxes thought I would share them with you!

Click on the image below to download them:
(Please note I did not cut the black elements --- I used gems for the eyes and noses)

Max Shadowbox

Hello! It has been awhile since I have blogged! I have a cute shadowbox to share with you today. The little boy's name is MAX and he has a baseball theme room. While I was making it the whole city was wild about baseball - Pittsburgh has not been in the playoffs for many years and the Pirates made it. They have since been knocked out but it was fun and exciting while it lasted.

Ok - on to the shadowbox. I used an 11x14 for this one that I picked up at Joanns.

For the banners I used SVG Cuts - Toil and Trouble SVG Kit. It is a great Halloween Kit ~ Check it out here.

The little baseball bears are from SVG Cuts -Taylor's Team SVG Collection.

I finished off with my the We R Memory Keepers Crop A Dile and some Trendy Twine and buttons.

Hope you liked my Shadowbox today. If you haven't seen the latest SVG Cuts kit ~ Enchanted Autumn SVG Kit ~  check it out here.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and stop back on Friday -
I recently made a cute SVG and I'm going to share it with you.

Here is a look at some of the blocks. Stop over to the SVG Cuts Blog to check out all the details.

There are lots more projects to share so stop by the SVG Cuts Blog often for the Halloween Party.

Back to School Layout

Hope your weekend is going great. I spent all day Friday and Saturday scrapping at a weekend away. It was so much fun! While I was away I scrapped the Back to School pictures. I used the We R Memory Keepers Albums Made Easy photo sleeves.

This one holds a 2 x 12" strip, 3 - 6 x 4" photos and 2 - 4 x 6" photos. I am totally loving the We R Memory Keepers 12x12 albums - I can fit alot of pages in them and you don't have to mess around with albums with screws. I am loving scrapping in this format.

(((Click on this pic to get a closer look)))

I used some Trendy Twine to accent my page and I am entering this in their challenge. Challenge requires primary colors and BTS. I hand cut around the photo of my boys and they are holding little chalk boards with their grade.

I did the print and cuts on my Cameo - they are from Echo Park’s Paper and Glue digital collection.

Hope you like my layout ....I have lots more to share with you.

Alright let’s get down to other business - I have lots to tell you about:

Perfect Gift for Labor Day

Hello and it’s the weekend! Not just any weekend - it’s a long Labor Day Weekend. Do you know someone who is going into labor soon?

Here is an 8" x 8" baby shadowbox I recently made for a coworker:

The standout in the shadowbox is the cool View Slide from
SVG Cut’s Bicycle Built For Two SVG Collection.

I took the patterned paper from Echo Park’s Bundle of Joy Collection and cut out elements to place in the slides. I also did some print and cut from the same digi kit and added some Trendy Twine to finish it off.

I just heard Labor Day is the 2nd busiest shopping day of the year behind Black Friday. If you are in the mood to shop stop by SVG Cuts ~ They are having a sale!

Enjoy your weekend!

Mini Back Packs & a Pumpkin

Are your kids back to school? Here are some cute little mini back packs I made for back to school.

I filled them with some jolly rancher candies.
They are from the SVG Cuts ~ Back to the Books SVG Kit.

They are about 4" high. I used Echo Park's Paper and Glue and did some fun print and cuts.

Have you seen the latest kit from SVG Cuts? It is called Bedtime Stories SVG Kit.

I made the pumpkin from the kit and plan on making the awesome castle.
Here is my pumpkin:
It has a little top that comes off. I used We R Memory Keepers Black Widow Papers. They are last year's papers (I'm picking up Bewitched tomorrow!)  I stitched the papers with black thread. I added some twine from Trendy Twine and flair from Paper Play Studios.

Have a great week!
