Beach Bums Layout

I did this layout for my local scrap store, The Crop Shop, design team assignment. It uses Cosmo Cricket DeLovely line. Love the bright colors of these papers. I cut circles and used foam tape to bump them off the page a bit.

I used a sketch from a fellow Creative Charms design team member, Debbie Gaydos. Love her sketches - I pull them out everytime I do a page. Check out her sketches here on the Ally Scraps blog. Here’s a link to Debbie’s blog - she is very talented and love her style!

Anniversary Collage

I made this collage for a dear friend. She came across her Mom & Dad’s Wedding Invite from the 1950’s. It was a bit weathered so I decided to ink some of the papers in brown to match the look.

This wonderful family has 5 daughters so I did 5 pink flowers at the bottom.

I represented the grand kids on the tree.

I did the small flowers (pink for the girls) (green/blue for the boys) to represent the great grand kids. There are many more on the way so I included extras in a ziploc on the back of the shadowbox frame.

The background bracket & flowers in a row are from SVG Cuts Memory Garden & the tree is from Robins Return. Pearls are from Creative Charms.

Have a great weekend!

Another Wedding Invite Collage

I used Bo Bunny for the background of this wedding invite collage. I just love the combo of purple and green. This bride created her own invite and her coworker asked that I create this for her.

The invite was in a purple folder and the bottom horizontal strip with the “H” wrapped around the folder so I incorporated into the collage - worked perfect.

The swirly and green leaves are from SVG Cuts. Can’t remember where the bracket in the background is from - most likely SVG Cuts.

Black & White Wedding Invite Collage

I am partial to black and white and I am pleased how this wedding invite collage turned out. Even my husband commented on it and he isn’t usually phased by my creations. :)

I used a great Best Creations Background paper. The brackets behind the invite are from SVG Cuts Strawberry Lane Digi Cart. The flowers for the wedding were white hydrangeas.

I used SVG Cuts Moonlight Garden Party Digi Cart to create those. Pearl accents were added to the flowers and the bracket. I used Creative Charms black gradient gems to accent along with a ribbon bow. A close up...

All Star Frame & Name Frame & A GIVEAWAY!

If you have visited before you know I do alot of Baby Names in Frames. I use the shadowbox frames. I tried a scaled-down version with a frame from the Dollar Store. I took out the glass and insert and created a 3D Name Collage.

I used chipboard letters for the name, layered all sorts of patterned paper from TPC Studio and finished off with Creative Charms embellishments. The scalloped polka dot paper was cut on the Cricut using SCAL - SVG is from SVG Cuts - (Christmas Cookie Party Collection).

The frame is 4x6 from the Dollar Store. I also covered the frame with the pink card stock. This would make a great gift for a Birthday Party to go along with a Barbie or Little Pet Shop gift.

Here is an All Star Frame Frame I put together. It was super easy.

Started with a 6x6 piece of Chipboard (I used Cereal Box). Cover that with red card stock. From there I layered some pp from Creative Imaginations. This paper was actually in the Birthday section of my local scrap store but I thought it would go along with the sports theme.

I cut the star and “All Star” title on my Cricut using SCAL and layered those. Added the photo and the wonderful Creative Charms brads. I used a shoelace to hang the piece.

Please leave me a comment to win these
summer camp kits from Creative Charms.
I have two of these to give away - here is what you’ll get:

I'll post the winners on Saturday - 7/24 - spread the word!

Bookmark & Backpack Tag

I have not been around lately -- I’ve been at the beach for 10 days and left the computer at home!

Here are a few projects I did awhile back for Creative Charms. The first is a bookmark. I cut the chipboard shape on my Cricut and cut the same shape from TPC Studio patterned paper. I cut the name on the Cricut and added the Creative Charms embellishments. The ribbon is from CC too.

Here is a quick backpack tag I put together. The tag SVG is from Dan’s Site. The little purse, gradient gems and flower gem in the middle of the flower are from Creative Charms. I finished off with a hoop I picked up at Staples.

I have a few more projects to share with these summer camp kits and a giveaway coming soon. Stop back!
